Myler Comfort Low Port Snaffle Bit with HBT Shanks 89-20045

Product Details

This Myler bit is great for horses in training that need a bit more relief than Level 1 mouthpieces. This bit has a comfort snaffle with a low 1/4" port, allowing for more tongue relief.

The sweet iron 5" mouthpiece will naturally oxidize, or rust. Harmless to horses, it has a sweet taste and promotes salivation. Stainless steel 5" HBT shanks. Myler Level 2 mouthpiece

Very versatile bit! I recently purchased a 7 year old quarter horse gelding that had been shown in pleasure and horsemanship with a correction bit. I was looking for other bit options as I transitioned him to trail riding. This bit was recommended by the consultants at Horse Saddle Shop and has worked beautifully. If offers a good amount of control and allows for isolation of each side of a horse's mouth independently. My horse was very accepting of this bit making the transition seamless. In turn, I leant this bit to a friend who wanted to transition her horse from a snaffle to a curb bit. Her horse had a tendency to throw his head in the snaffle. This Myler bit proved to be a good fit for her horse as well.

Great bit I used this on my Kentucky Mountain horse and liked it. I needed another one, to keep one in the trailer. The local store didn't have it in stock. so I order it through HSS. It was easy and I received it very fast.
