Reviews
Had a Tucker Equitation XW saddle for my PRE Andalusian mare made with supple ride leather, conchs with d rings and strings, black logo instead of red and 5 inch cantel instead of 3 inch.It turned out beautiful. I cleaned it well to remove any waxes then oiled it, dose not squeak as much as other Tuckers in the pass. The XW tree on these newer models not as wide as older versions. I will try to add a picture.
The quality of the leather is very disappointing. The stirrup leathers are very rough on one side he side that touches the saddle flaps and it has rubbed the finish off the leather. The saddle leather should have had a better quality finish so that it could not rub off and the stirrup leather should have been smoother. I have never had a saddle where the coloring or stain is not fully penetrating the leather. This saddle seems to have a painted-on finish or color and the leather is very thick and stiff. I have ridden in an much older version of the Tucker EQ and that one was the quality of the english saddles I am used to.
