The EASY-CHANGE Gullet System Complete Pack 900 provides the components needed to change the gullet width in saddles featuring the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System. Designed to help accommodate changes in your horse's shape, this convenient kit includes five interchangeable gullet plates, an EASY-CHANGE Gullet Gauge, and the necessary fixings for installation.

The EASY-CHANGE Gullet System adjusts the width of the saddle's Elastiflex tree by changing the rigid gullet plate positioned between the tree points. Each genuine plate is engineered to maintain its designated width under normal use, supporting consistent saddle adjustment when fitted correctly.

Additional Gullet System & Fitting Information

How the system works: The Elastiflex tree features lateral flexibility and is supported at the head by a rigid gullet plate. Changing the plate adjusts the width between the tree points while maintaining the structural characteristics of the saddle tree.

Choosing the correct size: Standard EASY-CHANGE saddles accommodate six interchangeable gullet sizes, from Narrow through Extra Wide. The complete pack contains five gullet plates. Most standard Wintec saddles are originally fitted with a Medium (Black) gullet, while High Wither models use Medium Narrow (Green).

Measurement guidance: Gullet measurements are taken from the inside of each plate at its widest point and may vary by plus or minus 3 mm. These dimensions are reference measurements only and should not be used independently to determine saddle fit. Use the EASY-CHANGE Gullet Gauge and consult a professional saddle fitter.

HART identification: Wintec saddles featuring Horse and Rider Technology (HART) have a HART badge positioned underneath the cantle. The badge identifies saddles equipped with all five HART technologies.

Installation: A long-handled Phillips #3 screwdriver and the EASY-CHANGE locating tool are recommended when changing gullet plates. The locating tool is supplied with the EASY-CHANGE riser pack. For assistance, consult your saddle fitter or authorized stockist.
