The 5 Star "The Barrel Racer" Saddle Pad is an all-natural pad specifically designed with the barrel racer in mind. Its rounded front and back are shaped to work well under round-skirt saddles while delivering the comfort, durability, and dependable performance 5 Star pads are known for.
The unique two-piece construction is designed to conform to the shape of your horse or mule while helping reduce spinal pressure and improve saddle fit without over-cinching. Made from high-quality F10-rated 100% pure virgin wool felt, the pad naturally wicks away sweat and heat while helping protect against pressure points.
Barrel Racer Round Skirt Shape
The rounded front and back are designed to fit well under round-skirt saddles and provide a shape tailored specifically to barrel racing setups. Custom embroidery is also available by special arrangement.
French Curve & Wither Slope
Special shaping accounts for wither height, back-line variance, and hip placement to help the pad conform naturally to the horse or mule.
100% Virgin Wool Construction
Natural virgin wool provides excellent absorption and wicking performance, helping move moisture and heat away while providing durable cushioning for the horse's back.
