14.5inch Circle Y KK Big Star Barrel Saddle Wide Tree 1521
Product Details
Circle Y KK Big Star Barrel Saddle 1521
Designed by Kelly Kaminski with a deep seat, Flex2 tree, and compact barrel-racing profile
The Circle Y KK Big Star Barrel Saddle 1521 features turquoise star conchos, a yucca border tool, 1/2 geometric quilted diamond tooling in a vintage finish, and the KK Flex2 tree. Designed by Kelly Kaminski, the saddle combines a deep seat with a structure intended to provide freedom of movement for the horse.
Roughout seat jockeys, fenders, and seat provide added stick and security, while the 5" cantle and 12" swell create the deep-pocketed barrel-racing profile. Short skirts are designed for a short-backed, compact-built horse, and the 7/8" In-Skirt C rigging provides a balanced rigging position.
Flex2 Tree
The KK Flex2 tree uses a rigid ground seat with a dual bar system designed to provide stability and flexibility where needed. Available in Regular and Wide.
Secure Seat
The deep seat, 5" cantle, 12" swell, and roughout seat components provide a secure, stationary riding feel through barrel runs.
Balanced Rigging
The 7/8" In-Skirt C rigging provides stability toward the front of the saddle while allowing room for shoulder movement.
Distinctive Styling
Turquoise star conchos, yucca border tooling, 1/2 geometric quilted diamond tooling, and a vintage finish create the Big Star's distinctive look.

Warranty & Care
The saddle includes a 10 Year Tree Warranty and 1 Year Craftsmanship Warranty. Every new saddle has been oiled and finished with a protective finish, so additional oiling is generally not needed for about six months. In dry or variable weather conditions, oiling may be needed sooner. The protective finish is water-based; avoid detergent-based, solvent, or harsh cleaning products and rub the leather gently rather than scrubbing vigorously.
Proper saddle placement is important for function and comfort. The front edge of the bar should be positioned behind the horse's shoulder blade. Circle Y also recommends evaluating fit and pad width rather than over-padding a well-fitting saddle.
Special Features

Customer service was top-notch! Super responsive in helping us pick out and design a semi-custom Dakota saddle for my daughter. Ordered it on October 29th and just happened to get it delivered on December 24th, right in time for Christmas! I would highly recommend Horse Saddle Shop to anyone looking for a new saddle!
Worked with Josh on multiple occasions. Fast response, thorough on answers, hassle free. This place was great! Came back to buy a second saddle from them as well. This will be my first place to look when I need something and even for my next saddle.
Extremely good to deal with very helpful. I just can’t recommend these guys enough. Considering I am in Australia they were extremely good to deal with very helpful I recommend them 150% saddle was packed well and it’s beautiful very happy customer 5 start rating hands down.
After so much searching and being nervous about ordering a saddle online. I picked up the phone and called the Horse Saddle Shop to ask a few questions about a used saddle that was on their website. They were so nice and helpful. I ordered my very lightly used Circle Y saddle and a new saddle pad. It arrived very quickly. Only a few days. I LOVE my new saddle. In great condition and rides great! I would highly recommend using them for your tack needs. I know I will be in the future!
