Billy Cook Half Breed Waffle Tooled Barrel Racer 1907

There will be no doubt you're riding a genuine Billy Cook when your friends see the fabulous rawhide laced horn and twisted cantle binding. The deep stamped Billy Cook maker logo on the fenders and seat don't hurt either!
Signature quilted stitching and tooled cheyenne roll cantle make this seat a work of art!
Designed on a BW barrel tree - rawhide covered for strength and durability - you'll be turning barrels for years to come. A Billy Cook only gets better with age.
A close contact cutout skirt and in-skirt 7/8 rigging removes the bulk from under the fenders for the close contact feel riders are looking for.
Silver conchos add some class to the waffle pattern with wheat border.
**Note: Billy Cook now puts nylon rigging straps on all barrel saddles. They no longer include a cinch (front or back flank strap)**

Everything I was looking for
I have a beautiful western saddle that was handmade in the 1940s and is the most comfortable saddle that I had ever ridden in but it weighed 60 pounds. I have been searching for a replacement for about two years with no luck. I ordered a saddle by a different saddle maker and it didn't fit my horse and wasn't comfortable for me so I sent it back and ordered this one. The saddle came the next day and out of the box it was obviously well made and excellent quality, I loved it so much I was hoping it would be "the one", I put it on my horse this weekend and it was a perfect fit and then I rode in it and it was comfortable and felt right immediately. The saddle is very nice looking, well made, solid and comfortable and it weighs about 30 pounds.

IMPRESSED
Received my saddle today, seriously SO impressed and completely satisfied with my purchase. I've never owned a nice saddle and I'm so glad I caved and spent a little extra and I'm really glad I went with billy cook. Beautiful design, comfortable as heck, sturrups were already turned and the quality is amazing. Fit my horses back perfectly, and she's recently had back problems with my other saddle. Well worth every penny.

Fits extremely high wither horse
The saddle looks good, fits good & is very comfy for me & my horse, short back, high wither, narrow shoulder, quarter horse. The only 2 complaints I have are it sits your legs too far back, I am working on breaking it in. It stained right away from my jeans. irst ride
