Lightweight synthetic trail saddle with adjustable Velcro panels, a Super Cushion memory foam seat, and padded endurance stirrups.
The Abetta Adjustable Panels Trail Saddle 20581 offers adaptable trail performance in a lightweight, easy-care design. Adjustable Velcro panels allow the contact beneath the saddle to be fine-tuned for a variety of builds, including high-wither horses, smaller Pasos, mules, semi-quarter horses, and other challenging saddle-fit profiles.
Built on a Poly-Solid tree with narrow, angled gaited slim bars and a 6" gullet, this saddle features a Super Cushion memory foam seat, Cheyenne roll cantle, rugged 1000 denier nylon over shock-absorbing foam, stainless steel hardware, padded endurance stirrups, and front and rear tie-down rings for carrying trail gear.
Adjustable Panel System
Removable Velcro panels allow riders to adjust contact and positioning beneath the saddle for greater setup flexibility across different horse builds.
Super Cushion Comfort
The thick memory foam seat works with the shock-absorbing foundation and supportive Cheyenne roll cantle for added comfort on longer rides.
Lightweight Trail Build

Panel setup & care notes
The adjustable panels can be repositioned to refine contact beneath the saddle for different horse builds. Because saddle fit depends on the complete horse-and-rider combination, panel placement should be checked carefully before riding. For routine care, rinse the synthetic exterior as needed and allow the saddle to dry thoroughly.

There is a lot of room for personal preference with seat sizing, but as a general rule it is better to error on the side of ordering a seat size that is too large rather than erring on the side of a seat that will be too small.
Things to Consider
- Tucker adds 1/2inch to their seat sizes (due to thick seat padding)
16.5 Tucker = 16 normally
- Barrel riders usually take 1 less on the seat size
16 Trail Rider = 15 Barrel Rider
- Ranch (slick seats) usually ride smaller (1/2inch seat size) so they dont slide around
16 is for most men, 15 for most women
- Trail Saddles with High Cantles (5) make the seat sizes feel smaller
Trail Saddle with 5 cantle will feel smaller in the seat than one with a 3.5 cantle
- English Saddles dont convert exactly but often are 2 bigger
18 English = 16 Western
- Riders with inseams under 30 or 5 tall and under often need custom cut fenders
Tall riders with long legs but lighter weight may need custom cut fenders as well
Checking the Fit
- General Guideline is about 3 fingers between your thigh and the swell.
