Saddles aren't just one part of our business — they're our specialty. Whether you're looking for a trail saddle, barrel saddle, ranch saddle, gaited saddle, roping saddle, used saddle, or something for a hard-to-fit horse, our team can help narrow down the choices and find the right starting point.

"Saddle" Is Our Middle Name

Horse Saddle Shop has been helping riders buy saddles online since 2000. What started as a small online saddle business has grown into one of the country's leading Western saddle retailers.

Today, we've sold more than 62,000 saddles and maintain more than 950 saddles in stock. That selection gives our customers something most saddle stores simply can't offer: the ability to compare many different brands, tree sizes, seat sizes, styles, price ranges, and fits in one place.

Our Bremen, Indiana store gives you the chance to do something you can't do from a computer screen — smell the leather, sit in different saddles, compare them side by side, and talk directly with people who work with saddles every day.

If you're able to bring your horse, even better. By appointment, our saddle specialists can help evaluate the horse, compare saddle options, and give you a practical starting recommendation.

Over 950 Saddles in Stock

We want Horse Saddle Shop to be a true saddle destination, not simply another tack store with a few saddles hanging on the wall.

With more than 950 saddles in stock, you'll find choices for trail riding, barrel racing, ranch work, roping, gaited horses, short-backed horses, wide horses, high-withered horses, and many other riding and fitting needs.

Just as important, we'll help you narrow that selection down. Saddle fit depends on much more than simply choosing a seat size or measuring a gullet. Horse build, shoulder shape, tree design, back length, riding style, and rider fit all matter.

That's why we offer free saddle-fitting help. Bring your horse by appointment, or talk with our team and we'll help you find the best place to start.

Saddle Brands: Abetta, Alamo, American, Big Horn, Billy Cook, Cactus, Cashel, Circle Y, Crates, Dakota, Fabtron, Harris/Silver Mesa, High Horse, HR, Reinsman, Rocking R, SaddleSmith, South Bend, Tex Tan, Tucker and more.
