I became a believer 5 I tried a neighbor's Tucker Equitation endurance saddle from 2004, just on a lark. However, I immediately noticed that I did sit in a better position, was better balanced and later , after a couple of hours in the saddle, was much less stiff.

I had another neighbor with the western version of this saddle and I borrowed that to try....it is a wider, flatter saddle and not as comfortable for me.

I liked the saddle I was using but as a 'mature' rider, the comfort of the Equitation a Endurance saddle could not be denied.

I worked with Josh who was patient and helpful. We finally settled on a wide tree for my RMH.

Now, days later with many hours in the saddle, I am very happy I made this change.

The Tucker Equitation Endurance saddle has lots of strings for cargo and enough rings for tying on ropes, emergency equipment, water, etc... I was concerned that I wouldn't feel my horse's back but somehow that communication is still there.

I wish I had bought this saddle years ago.
Pros:Not too heavy

Ergonomic

Attractive

Works on my short-backed horse

tucker endurance saddle 149 x-wide 4 I bought the saddle for a short back wide lippizan mare.

The guys at HorseSaddleShop were very, very helpfull and after many phone discussions, I ordered and received the saddle in 4 working days wow\.

The saddle fits the lippy well and she feels ok with it.
On the other side, it is much less comfy for the rider.,, The gell seat could be redesign for a better fit. My hard seat ranch saddle is much better.
On the good side, I am 5'8" with short legs and a wide horse. The narrow swell is good for mt hips and the english rigging is good for my worned knees.

Pros:Good workmanship
fit the lippy well

Cons:I have a few endurance saddle and they are all equitation seats,
the stirrups on this saddle are about 2 inches forward, so it needs a bit of getting used to the new position
The gell seat does not give you the comfort advertised, but the priority the horse.

Horrible quality 1 I purchased the Tucker T49 Endurance saddle, I waiting 5 weeks, for them to make the saddle in wide ull quarter horse bars and for delivery just before xmas. I was so disappointed with the quality. I ordered the saddle with the english fittings option. After i received it I went to a local tack shop and compared the english and western versions side by side, the difference in quality between the saddle with english fittings and the same saddle with western fittings was night and day. From the quality of the leather to the workmanship, the saddle with english fittings was horrible. There were scars all over from "misses" from the leather working tools, the rivets that hold the 'authentication plate' on were rough and could cut me or tear up the $135 saddle pad and the leather felt cheap and hard, not supple leather for sure. I got the privilege of paying for return shipping and a 5% restocking fee, which I think is unacceptable when the saddle is inferior. Stay away!

comfort trail saddle 4 Riding in my Tucker is like a Laz-e-boy armchair version of saddles, Fits a variety of horses well, and they are also comfortable. Only downside is that after only 6 weeks of ownership stirrup leather snapped whilst cantering along trail. Pretty disappointing. Hoping that the quality is such that I can get many years riding in this saddle. Other downside is, it is a little on the heavy side at 12kg. Overall though I love it.

Very nice saddle 4 This is one comfortable saddle to ride trails. The only problem I see is the fact it squeaks very loudly with each motion of the horse or the rider. Hoping this will resolve as the "new" is broken in..

Very happy with saddle and Horse Saddle 4 Ordered saddle and it came very quickly from Horse Saddle Shop. I did shop around at different websites and many said shipment would take a few weeks! Couldn't wait that long. Great saddle that really looks quality made. A bit squeaky, but it is still new. NO fault of the company, but, just remember it is fairly advertised at 21 lbs, but remember to add the weight of your stirrups, or other things you carry on your saddle to get a correct weight.

Squeaky saddles 5 For those that have noted that the saddle is squeaky, turn the saddle over and put a small amount of baby powder in between the saddle pieces. The leather rubbing together is what causes the squeak, the baby powder allows the leather to slide across each other.

Squeaky, but amazing!!! 5 I absolutely love this saddle!!! Yes, it is a bit squeaky but I gather that will go away with use eminds me of new shoes lol\. I bought this for my small twh, she has really high withers and such a petite frame, that fitting her was a little difficult. I do believe this saddle to be the best I own! While I find comfort the most important thing, for my horse and I, having so many complements on my good looking saddle doesn't hurt lol.

Nice Saddle but very noisy 4 I was really excited to get this saddle. I especially liked the weight compared to my western saddle. The seat is very comfortable and the saddle fits my horse nicely. My only complaint is that it is so squeaky, it's very difficult to hold a conversation with my fellow trail riders. I mean it's LOUD! For that reason alone it's difficult for me to recommend this saddle, but I'm still giving it a high rating because it would be a top pick for me if not for the squeaking.

Fantastic Saddle! 5 My mutton withered, short backed, round barrel, endurance Arab was a nightmare to fit a saddle to. I went through SEVEN saddles until I tried this saddle. It fit perfect. It didn't slip, it didn't roll, it didn't pinch. AND...it is the most comfortable saddle I own. I'm the envy of my endurance friends and my dressage friends who say, "oooh that looks to comfortable." The saddle is beautifully made; the leather is superior, the brass fittings and attention to detail outstanding. I use it for endurance riding, casual trail riding and backyard arena dressage work. I'm so happy and better yet my horse is so happy. Thank you Tucker.
