It feels like soft leather, yet is extremely durable. The pad features leatherwear leathers and the Tacky Too bottom, which provides a non-slip base that your horse will appreciate. Underneath the microsuede is soft, non-slip neoprene that promises to be anti-bacterial and deceptively durable. The neoprene will not pull or collect the horse's hair nor will it trap heat or sweat, helping to reduce sore backs and saddle roll. It has a close contact feel, absorbs shock and is easy to clean.
