Some of our top posters from Daily Equine.com let us take a peek at their Christmas Wish Lists
We invited some of our friends at Daily Equine to share their wish lists for Christmas. All three are seasoned horse owners and valued voices of wisdom and experience on the Daily Equine forums. They regularly take time to help beginning horse owners and provide priceless guidance and advice to all sorts of topics.

 | Hook, a regular contributor to the forum and a long time horse owner, suggests a few things that almost any horse owner would like:
|
For the hard-to-buy-for horse person who could resist the brass decor shown here? My favorite is the hooks that will fit in any tack room or country home entrance, but my horse deserves a solid brass horse shoe bridle bracket.
A perfect gift for the new horse owner would be a new helmet from this selection. For the "been there done it" helmet user why not an upgrade to the Sierra? I purchased one for myself that Mrs Hook liked so much I had to get another for me.
Of course if you want to just do a little something for your favorite coach or trainer but can’t really decide what, you can’t go wrong with a gift certificate from the Saddle Shop. Access to a great selection of products with great service anywhere in the world.
Of course the ultimate on my Christmas list is a new barrel saddle for my horse Hookie. I want a new Tex Flex barrel saddle with a custom ordered 7 inch wide tree. Mrs Hook are you listening? The Tex Flex rep at the Congress said they could make one for me for only a minimal set-up charge and you could order it through the Saddle Shop.

Paintgal:
My name is Karen and I'm ex-barrel racer who is currently riding the trails of southern Indiana! I've participated on a drill team and helped with riding lessons at a local barn as well as supervised overnight horse camping with students. |
Top pick: the Sierra Troxel Western helmet. The Troxel Western Helmet is not only stylish but comfortable and so light weight that you forget you've got it on! One study reports that 50% of hospital admissions after a horse-related injury were due to brain injury. Don't let you or a loved one be a statistic.
Pair this Crates Light Trail Saddle with a Reinsman Tacky Too Round Skirt Pad and you and your horse will both be comfortable on those all day rides. It's a great looking saddle and you don't have to be a weight lifter to handle it either!
 | Stormie: I'm a life long horsewoman that is currently owned by 4 horses who drag me out to shows and trail rides. Not that I fight them about that, I just wish they would do more of the chores. |
I would really like it if Santa would send me this saddle: Circle Y Flex-Lite Reiner Saddle. I sold my flex tree with Softee leather and I so miss that Softee leather.
And TWO of these New Felt Contour Saddle pads with Gel Inserts in black because my horses look really good in black.
And a few bits in the stocking would be a nice touch because one can never have too many bits!
