prices to be among the lowest when compared to other online sources and
the shopping experience was quite satisfying. The site is well laid out
and intuitive. I received an immediate e-mail confirmation and another
e-mail to notify me when the order shipped and the message included the
UPS tracking number. I was not called nor was I asked to call the
vendor. My order was placed around noon on a Thursday and I received the
delivery the very next morning. I live in Iowa and the shipment came
from Ohio. Great service! Needless to say, I give this merchant my
highest recommendation and will shop with them often. |

a call on my cell phone. The voice on the line proceeded to introduce
himself. The pieces of the bridle that I had ordered, in his estimation,
would not match, even though the pictures on the internet indicated that
they would. I took him at his word, and allowed the exchange. The
headstall, reins, and chin strap arrived the next morning, maybe even
that night, I remember being quite surprised at the speed of the
delivery. Inside was an excellent quality, beautiful headstall that

about the tack I was purchasing & they were so helpful in answering
those for me. After I placed my order (I have ordered from them twice
now), they noticed that I ordered two different colors of leather pieces
-they called me to make sure thats what I wanted (I didnt, so I was
happy they caught it!) They were extremely helpful, the best customer
service I have seen in a very long time. They even enclosed a little bag

prices. I placed my order late in the afternoon online. The next morning
they called me. They were packing my order and wanted to make sure of
the color choices I had made. Not everything would have been the same
color. Because of the difference in brands. They asked if I realized
that. I didnt. So they made sure everything matched and that the color
was right for me. Shipping was awesome! Not only was shipping free but
no sales tax! I had my saddle in 5 business days and one of those

phoned me within a few hours to confirm my internet order and he
answered my few questions. The saddle I ordered is a new style and he
told me they did not have one in stock. He had already called Circle Y
to see if they had one available. The factory told him they would not be
able to ship one for about 3 weeks. Dale asked if that would work for
me. Since the HorseSaddleShop had the best price of anyone, including
E-Bay, I was very willing to wait. Imagine my amazement when 3 days
later my beautiful saddle and breast collar showed up on my doorstep! I
will definitely buy from them again. The customer service is outstanding
and I have no doubt if there had been any problems, they would have

dozen sites. The Saddle Shop had by far the best price around. I emailed
them several questions about products and they always answered right

though it was right before Christmas. My product was a saddle and it did
not have the same stirrups as pictured on the site, but that is common
enough and the ones it came with are better and more expensive. I am

Body: I purchased a saddle from thesaddleshop.com and requested online
that they pack the saddle carefully, so that it doesnt get damaged
during shipment. Within one minute of my purchase, a representative from
thesaddleshop called me to explain that they have no control over the
packaging, only the manufacturer does. He offered to ship the saddle to
me straight from the manufacturer since it was closer and would take
less time to ship. He also promised to make sure it was shipped first
thing in the morning, since it was after business hours when I placed my
order. First thing in the morning, I received an email notifying me that
the saddle had been shipped. It arrived in perfect condition, and was
about $400 less than the manufacturers price. The only thing they could
have done better is to get the tracking number for me from the
manufacturer, so I could have had a better idea of what day to expect
the delivery. I do recommend them for anyone who is in the market to buy
a saddle. |

I am a new horse owner and chose The Saddle Shop for my
actual purchase because they provided such excellant pre-sale service.
Their site contains specific information on each product,and what
requirements need to be met for perfect fit,for both horse and rider.
They have set up a 'Forum' that presents many questions & answers
that might come up, but any I had,that were specific to my purchase,
were answered swiftly & completely. I do most of my shopping
on-line, and therefore have experience with electronic Retailors, and
can rate the people at The Saddle Shop at the very top of the list!
Because of their thorough pre-sale service, my ultimate choice of saddle
has been a complete success, but I have no doubt that if it wasn't,I

The saddle did arrive on time. However the cardboard box
it came in was badly damaged and crushed. The saddle itself was marked
on one of the fenders and on a stirrup, so I was not over the moon with
it, infact, something I had been looking forward to for a long time, was
quite an anti-climax. I ordered some wormers from another supplier and I
was surprised to find that the boxes of wormer had been packed with a
lot more care and consideration. If I had known that the saddle would
have been so poorly packed to prevent damage, I would have gladly paid

delivery. My credit card was billed immediately, instead of when the
saddle was sent. Other on-line retailers, such as State Line Tack do not
bill if the merchandise is not in stock. I asked for the billing to be
