Time-tested and performance-proved for over twenty years, the Crates Classic Team Roper can be found in rodeo, pro and non-pro, over the entire world of rodeo, again and again up to the challenge.

Carefully made on a rawhide-covered Crates exclusive Team Roper Tree, in both Quarterhorse and Performance Horse confi guration, using premium heavy saddle skirting leather, hand-tooled trim, hand-rubbed and oiled, with stainless steel hardware and engraved silver conchos. Each saddle is hand-tooled, finished, oiled, and antiqued. You'll love the narrow fitting ground seat, extruded nylong dee rigging lining for added strength, and the rawhide-lined flank billet. Crates uses heavy select saddle skirting, as well as stainless steel to prevent rust and tarnish. Only solid copper rivets and fasteners are used. Each Crates saddle is truly a hand-made product.

  • Gullet: 6 5/8" Wide, 8" High, 13" Wide
  • Note: This saddle is also available in a full quarter horse bar, giving you a 7" gullet for wider horses. Please call for availability.
  • Horn: Post 3" High, 3 1/4" Cap, Rawhide tipped
  • Seat: Roughout Suede Pad
  • Cantle: 4" Oval
  • Rigging: Double Stainless Steel
  • Skirt: 28" X 14", Saddlefleece lined
  • Fender: 19" X 9", 3" leathers, belvins buckles
  • Stirrups: Rahide laced deep roper
  • Finish: Hand tooled, oiled, antiqued
  • Conchos: Antiqued silver steer head
  • Weight: Approximately 40 pounds.
